June 7, 2016 - Two years since the last bottle and it is doing well. A lighter, more elegant style than some of the other CDPs I've had recently. Nice tart red berry fruit - strawberry, earthy, raspberry with softer, fuller tannins. Secondary notes are just starting to come into play at 9 years so this wine is aging gracefully. Shorter, acid finish but it fits the wine perfectly. Given the thin-ness, I'd grab it sooner rather than later.

January 25, 2016 - Weekly tasting group #201; A fully blind test. (@ The factory by JdB): Beautiful bouquet with dark forest fruits, chocolate and vanilla. On the palate beautiful dark forest fruits, sweet licorice, vanilla, sweet spices, toast, good acidity and soft, round tannin. Good length. The wine was tasted blind and I never would have guessed it was a 2007 C9duP because the wine is already beautifully mature. No reason to wait much longer, but a great pleasure now.

October 24, 2015 - Rich, spicy nose with cherries and some vanilla. A full throttle wine which went well with Iberico loins and olive mashed potatoes. Quite interesting and drinkable for such a massive (15,5 % alcohol), full bodied wine.
Should hold for another 5-10 years.
