March 14, 2016 - outstanding balance - good acidity so that it worked well with gilled chicken and nice fruit with excellent pepper finish

June 2, 2010 - Nice bottle of wine that is drinking nicely right now and I would agree that the next year or two is probably optimum. Not overly done with nice cherry and plum flavors.

December 23, 2009 - Medium body. Nose was initially dominated by oak, but a little bit of oxidation brought out the fruit; has great acidity and perfect ripeness. Redolent of aromas of compote, dried cherry, and some cola. The finish is a bit short. Overall this has outstanding balance. Drinking very well right now.

Update: On the third day (after being vacuum corked) this is still good, but with less fruit. Now it tastes like an average RRV PN. If you've got this bottling, I'd recommend consuming it by 2012.
