February 24, 2013 - After an hour to breathe this is drinking beautifully. Good cherry, tobacco flavors w great acidity. Still has time left. Prob better with a meal then on its own.

January 24, 2012 - Tasted blind. Dirty earth flavors and ripe cherry. Subtle old world tendencies.

December 31, 2011 - Aromas of red cherry and a little toasted cedar. Medium body with a surprisingly decent amount of acidity. Well meshed flavors of cherry, vanilla cream, leather, and tobacco. Moderate tannins. Not that I've had many aged wines, but if this is it than I like it.

December 1, 2011 - The label states that this wine made to drink in 21 years from the vintage. While there are lots of signs of flavor and structure now, I think it would benefit to rest for a few more years to integrate and smooth out.

October 13, 2011 - Fully mature flavors of black currant and cherry. A little leather and tobacco. Dry finish.
