November 4, 2018 - SO'd for an hour, med. gold, citrus with a little pear, mod/long finish; very good but despite being 11 years old, it tastes like a youngster. This will be interesting to follow & likely has at least another 5-10 yrs.
October 9, 2018 - This seemed perfect. Not even the judge. Just a treat.
August 26, 2018 - I have few bottles left of this. Definitely time to drink. Some previous bottles recently consumed were slightly oxidized (sherry notes) but this bottle was fresh. Butter scotch, honey suckle notes. Nice acidity and finish
December 27, 2017 - Smokey, acidic, rich nose (A). Excellent palate (B++)
February 3, 2017 - BYO (My House): Very disappointing! The wine was oxidized. Somewhat drinkable but clearly defective.
December 12, 2015 - Light yellow/golden color. No flaws. No sediment. Moderate rim variation. soft nose. Smooth taste. Low tannin/acid. Medium alcohol. Medium finish. Enjoyed alone with cheeses. Perfect and ready to drink. Plenty of bottle life left in this beauty.
July 11, 2015 - Better than the lst bottle, this was medium golden yellow with a nice nose of toasty oak and butter cream and a touch of tropical fruit. Well made stylistically but a little lacking in complexity and crispness. A little flabby on the palate. Nutty finish.
