April 20, 2010 - Needed some air for the fruit and texture to emerge. Very textbook RRV Pinot, all cherries with a hint of cola. The wine has pretty decent acidity (esp. for a new world Pinot). I can't help but think this wine falls in an awkward spot--too ripe for Burg-heads and to lean for Cali Pinot Lovers. Still, a tasty bottle of wine with good complexity and good typicite'.
