    Tasted non blind.

Garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of aspirin, dirty diaper, black berries and black cherries. Flavors of black berries, blaco raspberries and minerals. Medium acidity, medium tannin, medium to full bodied. Drink or hold.

April 1, 2016 - Well made wine. Still has some good life yet to come. Great balance between earthiness and red berries.

November 12, 2015 - Total disconnect between the bottle I drank versus what others have posted. The nose showed captivating black cherry and beetroot, palate showed robust morello cherry, raspberry, strawberry, beetroot/cola, spice and good balance, long (45 second) finish. It is absolutely delicious. My only knock against it was lack of Clos Vougeot typicity and just a sense of it being beautiful pinot fruit. (It could just as easily have been Oregon.)

March 24, 2013 - Saturdays at One - Volume 68 - Double Blind! (Tom's Place in Las Colinas, TX): WIML89

Tasted double blind at a wine tasting.

Garnet colorin the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose fo ferilizer, baby diaper, black pepper and dried herbs. Flavors of berries, raspberries and a hint of cherries. Tart acidity, drying tannin, medium to full bodied. Drink with some air maybe?

My guess was a 1970s Bordeaux. I was so far off the reservation I lost my citizenship.

March 24, 2013 - The color is dark garnet and dense and somewhat cloudy with some orange notes to the rim. The smells are cherry, raspberry, cinnamon, clove, and coffee. The tastes are tart cherry, big earthy notes, cinnamon, clove, tea, coffee, and stones. The tannins are very fine and there seems to be a bit of wood on the finish.
