  March 6, 2021 - In retrospect I wish I'd let the bottle live upright for a bit and decanted for sediment and rebottled, but we have two more bottles so lessons learned. This is in a lovely aged Cali stage. Bit more fruit forward. Very accessible. You can tell there's some age but it still works for people who like younger wines. To me it was drinking really nicely.

  February 23, 2019 - Double blind. Clearly another older wine. Tea, raisin and plum notes. Sour and acidic, with dark plummy fruit. No guesses.

  July 11, 2015 - the best US merlot.......elegant, smooth, dk fruits and mild jam & tea notes

  February 5, 2015 - Purple color with a bouquet and flavor dominated by leather, with a prickly finish. Unfortunately, it quickly became harsh and unpleasant after a little airing, likely reflecting its age.
