  March 2, 2024 - La Paulée de Los Angeles Gala Dinner (The Fairmont - Santa Monica CA): Small glass. Magnum. Lots of power, aging gracefully with some near-Madeira notes that add another note of intrigue.

  Notes: very deep and complex nose with a bit of coconut and sugar cane suggesting age of the wine. An excellent effort from the maker. Nevertheless this is probably past its peak and I believe this wine would've tasted a lot better if we had it 5 years ago. Certainly time to drink up and it's going downhill rather than uphill.

  December 5, 2015 - Superb drinking for an older champagne, with colour being a beautiful golden yellow and a very fine mousse. Nutty lemon apricot nuances. Fruit driven depth on the back palette. Amazing...!!
