March 2, 2022 - Stag's Leap Library Wine Tasting (Heritage Gallery - Chicago IL): Walk around tasting, direct from the winery. Simpler and shorter vs the 2010 just tasting, this is lacking brightness and dynamism. Still fun, but not a wine to hold much longer.

December 25, 2020 - Very good wine. I suspect it was better a few years ago. Had it with a ribeye and it was a great match. Probably drank it too quickly. It seemed to be opening up after about 2 hours but alas, the bottle was gone. Solid front to back flavor. Not as full bodied as I would have hoped for. But a mature, grown up wine.

March 23, 2020 - Cork was a bit dry even though wine has been kept impeccably
Wine was bright/ruby colored tight initially but after 2-3 hrs it opened up displaying nice coffee notes embedded in the dark fruit with a beautiful nose
    Wine is at its peak

October 4, 2019 - This was a beautiful wine. Yes, it was a bit past its peak, but it was beautiful none the less It was a wonderful example of what great California wines are. It still had a lovely fragrance, was mouth-coating but a bit short on the back end. Everyone enjoyed it.

January 19, 2018 - This was geoegous, and full of silky red fruits, cassis, forest floor, tobacco, and leather. Well integrated tannins and a long finish. Drinking really, really well out of 375ml but definutley no rush. Classic aged napa cab goodness.
