    December 28, 2014 - This is a great wine. Beautifully balanced and mature. Still fruit driven with a hint of tobacco and earth. Tannins have melted away. Really enjoyable and complemented a great dinner at Piccolo Paradiso in BH.

    June 16, 2013 - Drinking perfectly right now for those who like to make sure there is still lots of fruit left, but some secondary flavors are emerging to make things interesting. Excellent with steaks on Father's Day!

    March 23, 2013 - 4th Saturday group "uptown" tasting (Rich & Dana's): Inky color. Absolutely stunning bouquet of forest floor, tobacco, red fruit, iron, graphite and balckberries. On the palate, this is balanced and elegant with an abundance of fruit. Blackberry preserves, cherry, currants and herb qualities with a long, elegant finish. Has some wonderful Old World character with New World fruit; gorgeous! 96+ pts.
