August 15, 2020 - Outstanding zin from what I'm coming to regard as the Golden Age of Turley. Full flavor, mellowed tannins, no heat despite high alcohol. We had a mini-vertical with a 2008; delicious with rack of pork with honey grilled peach glaze. I've had more recent Turley zins (~2014-15) that disappointed and seemed over the hill. This was great and probably would have lasted a couple more years, but I'm glad I pulled the cork and shared with good (wine appreciating) friends.

November 17, 2019 - (Vertical Dusi tasting at Turley.) Sits right between the ‘08 and ‘09 Dusi Zins in terms of its development. Blackberries and apricots kissed by creosote and bay leaf. Full bodied with almost resolved tannins. Decent acidity. Drink 2021-2024. Worth Seeking Out.

December 24, 2016 - Mid-dark garnet, brick edges; wood, berry, prune, aldehyde nose (16.4 alc.); big body; fruity; long hot finish. with ribs.
