June 7, 2016 - Wow, every time, what a glass of wine. Big perfume of dense currant and black and blue fruits above savoury smoked meats and scorched earth. Interesting indian spice hanging around too. At this age its in a place where you want to leave it to gain even more complexity and nuance but it is just too pleasurable not to open and drink up.

June 6, 2016 - Drank from 375 ml bottle. This wine is going though an awkward period at the moment. Little disjoined when first opened. Much better on the second day with red and blue fruit and smoked bacon. The palate is well structured with nice balance of acidity and sweet fruit. Long finish. Rated for the second day tasting.

November 25, 2015 - Big brooding nose of smouldering campfire, barbecue smoke pit, cracked black pepper, green bell peppers, and intense currants. Meaty, rare roast beef on the palate with ripe black currant. A touch hot with some glycerine at the moment but already drinking beautifully with tannins totally in check. Was amazed to find this at a local wine shop on a visit home to the Socialist Republic of British Columbia and at $CAD 130 may have to go back for the rest of the case. Awesome wine and really enjoyable right now.

September 21, 2015 - Dark purple. Nose of bloody grilled beef, blackberry, and garrigue. In the mouth this is both savory and sweet, beefy and fruity, the whole package, nicely balanced. The long finish of savory spice stains the palate. Drink now through 2020.

August 12, 2015 - Showed great at first but we made the mistake to decant it, thinking air would help it show more as it was quite tight. Sadly it tightened up even more and was totally closed down by the end. Advice: right now, stick to pop and pour.
