June 17, 2014 - This wine has plenty of structure and life left in it, I'm just not sure though if it will improve much in the future (other than smooth out from the tannins settling). Clearly a cool-climate Pinot, even in a warmer year like 2007. A nice red-fruit oriented Pinot with a solid backbone. It has enough structure that it's a bit of a distraction, although it did start to smooth out a bit after a few hours. Will likely improve, but I'm not sure what will become of it. Needs more cellar time and/or a good decant as of this writing.

December 24, 2012 - Overall, pleasant, but nothing spectacular. Flavors were on the weak side.

December 2, 2012 - Ready to drink. No flaws, no sediment, no rim variation in the glass. Classic pinot nose. Moderate fruit intensity. Low alcohol taste. Medium finish.

    October 11, 2012 - Another great bottle

March 10, 2012 - This bottle didn't show at the level of other Failla pinots I have tasted. Thinnish, ripe, simple, hot, and tart, not horrible but a pretty ordinary Sonoma pinot.
