May 30, 2016 - This pours with a gold color. It has some oompth, texture and a bit more push than I typically enjoy in my chards, yet there is acidity here that is carrying through just fine at nearly 10 years. Good core of lemon, too. I'd not age this any longer if you have them, as it's in a good spot right now IMO.

February 9, 2014 - Golden yellow. Pineapple, mango and peach on the nose and palate. Has tart apple and noticeable viscosity. Has some. rhone like characteristics. Obviously trying for a more Burgundy / Chablis style.

December 21, 2013 - Annual Tasting Group Holiday Party (Porter Creek, Mpls, MN): Light gold color. Drank 1+ glass over 45 minutes. The nose offers up some lovely tropical fruits, pineapple, mango, peach, orange zest, white florals, and crème brule. The palate was medium-full bodied, citrus, toast, dry earth, nice minerality, orange peel, lemon meringue, pineapple. Lovely balance and a long finish; this just kept getting better. I've always been a fan of Brewer-Clifton wines, they never seem to disappoint. 93+pts.

August 16, 2013 - Day 2 - Central Coast Tastings (Central Coast, CA): Not as racy and jaw-dropping as the 2006 drank alongside, but it was easy to tell it was cut from the same cloth. Lots of stone, salinity, and limes. Definitely fatter and more fleshy than the 2006...like drinking a 2008 chablis next to its 2009 brethren. Still incredibly good.

August 12, 2013 - Wow, is this good. A smoky top note, then flavors of peach, pip apple and lemon. Chablis-like in flavor with wet rocks and an apricot skin in the finish, along with bright, lime tinged acidity, again like Chablis. This shows some ripe tones but all the acid and orchard fruit really makes this sing. Loved this wine, bought some for the cellar.

August 30, 2012 - A light carmel, brass and straw all intertwined, with a chrystal rim. Quince - which I simply adore - peach, honey suckle, gardenia, stone and gravel. So much body and depth. This is really hitting the perfect stride and I find the balance to be ethereal. My favorite Brewer-Clifton Chardonnay yet and beyond worth seeking out. So much white-fruit flavor, with hints of mint tea. Drink now - 2017.
