September 29, 2021 - Seemed stewed or heat damaged, which is odd because I bought this directly from Arcadian at release and it has been well stored since. I have also been a fan of other Arcadian 2006s I have tasted. I will have to try another '06 Sleepy Hollow soon.

November 18, 2020 - Ah, Joe Davis and Sleepy Hollow Pinot. Light red, transparent color. I get that enticing herbal-stemmy note on the nose that I always find in Joe's Sleepy Hollows. Still fresh and lively with black cherry and hints of cola. Very refined and easy drinking on the palate. Great texture. Chambolle-ish. Really terrific wine that is drinking well now

NOSE: ripe red fruits; "flat" mineral aspect – rocks; hint of orange; moderately expressive.

BODY: light bodied; brick ruby color of shallow to medium-shallow depth.

TASTE: medium+-to-high acidity; spices; no tannin; alc. a touch noticeable; medium-light to medium concentration of fruit; very light, non-descript tart red fruits; medium-light oak. Fairly open, and lighter than I was hoping for. Not as structured as some other vintages, but doesn't strike me as falling apart, either.

March 13, 2018 - Decanted 2 hours. Light read-through color with a wide clear rim. Fresh and lively aromas show red and black cherry, baking spices and savory herbs. The flavors introduce some cherry cola and spice notes all complimented by a gentle sweetness. The palate is nicely textured, impeccably balanced and refreshing. The tannins are fully integrated and that sweetness lingers on long and refreshing finish. Very pretty. Serve with a bit of a chill. Drink now through 2022.
