December 19, 2014 - Popped and poured. Followed over 2 hours. Medium yellow. Full bouquet showing honeyed white flower and orchard fruit notes. Palate is a bit less impressive but only slightly - there is a bit of disjointedness to the balance and acidity is a bit prominent. But this is a full featured, enjoyable villages with complexity and charm. May improve over another 2-3 years.

March 23, 2013 - 4th Saturday group "uptown" tasting (Rich & Dana's): Deep straw yellow color. Fantastic bouquet of lemon oil, toast, smoke, stone and minerals with a subtle wool-like, cottony undertone. Flavors of lemon, pear, stone and minerals. Good underlying acidity with a long, lingering finish with terrific minerality. Guessed young Corton Charlemagne. Drink now-2020+.

December 9, 2012 - Opened 2 hours prior, no decant. Notes from memory. Very pleasant villages with a moderately complex mineral mid-palate, nice acidity and a gentle toasted oak backdrop.

August 25, 2012 - Popped and poured at 10C. Notes from memory. Light yellow. This wine suffered from being served in ridiculous, thimble shaped glasses at a friends place. Bouquet was very faint. Palate showed lemon, a faint lattice of oak, and a mineral core. Good acidity and persistence. The wine grew on me over time but will have to come back to another bottle in proper glasses to give a real impression.
