January 13, 2023 - clearly in the secondary stage for my palate. Light and smooth fruit with a cherry backbone and stems still very present. A good to very good Echezeaux but lacking the depth of the best vintages. 92/93

October 14, 2022 - Wines of the Gods (House of AC and JC): Component of DRC Echezeaux and Grands Echezeaux vertical. Medium ruby with herbal, sour cherry nose. Intense cranberry on palate with whiffs of Keemun tea on a moderate finish. Best 2028-2048.

August 27, 2022 - Silky and light - cherry jumping out of the glass. Almost sensual but still with a backbone and richness of the vintage. Drinks great now and the next 20 years.

May 6, 2022 - Strong reduction with stems underlying, some hints of capsicum. Palate resolves quite high toned, prefer to 2006. (1821/14796)

October 23, 2021 - DRC @ WS: Some vegetal/stem notes that did blow off with air. Fruit is there and a touch of spice, but seemed disjointed and shut down pretty early in the glass. Not ready.

June 7, 2021 - Quite evolved, open and expressive. Mostly red fruit, spices, slightly floral, undergrowth. On the palate very well balanced, good concentration of fruit, an attractive hint of greenness, well integrated acidity. Very good length. Not the most concentrated, but very elegant and harmonious. 94-96

July 27, 2020 - Stemmy. Dark red fruit. Mid weight. Good juice for the vintage. Have had several 07 DRC and it always underperforms compared to even the average vintages. Anyone giving this 98 is rating the label.
