June 11, 2016 - Not expecting a lot 9 years since vintage. Found the wine was still well balanced albeit fading. Still a reasonable red with a touch of purple colour. The nose still had signs of red fruit but very low intensity - on tasting the acid and tannins were reflective of this but no signs of oxidation. Still an OK drink for the money outlayed and quite a surprise

January 24, 2015 - Ya know what for the $8 price it's not bad. Don't expect something with complexity, but a fruit forward cheap wine that tastes pretty good is what you get. Enjoy the bottle at the price of a glass and shut up wine snobs!

October 26, 2014 - Classic Cab Sav.... Dark cherry and black currant aromas complimented with toasty oak flavours and well balanced tannins. Good time to drink as any longer and it may not have been at its best.

March 3, 2012 - Dry, alcohol aftertaste lingers. Doesn't smell good, taste is ok but not special

June 19, 2010 - I was not impressed. This wine is drinkable with a nice purple color but unimpressive nose. There are hints of blackberry and red currant on the initial taste, which provides some promise, but the overwhelming aftertaste is of a course textured alcohol, which, unfortunately, lingers too long.

December 24, 2009 - Nothing special, but certainly quite drinkable. Dark fruit with slight oak and smooth tannins.

May 10, 2009 - Surprisingly good. Excellent for $8. Not obviously cab, but good dark fruit with a bit of tar. I would probably have guessed malbec.
