December 16, 2022 - This bottle was from the final sale on Casemates and it was a tasty bottling. Not quite as interesting as some of the other bottles of this I've had over the years but as always it's nicely balanced and was enjoyable from start to finish.

December 13, 2020 - Very good dark fruit (raspberry) and molasses. Quite boozy. Very tasty.

July 14, 2019 - I feel like a genius for choosing this wine to enjoy while watching the sunset this evening. Usually a glass of wine will last until the sun disappears, but not tonight. Much more interesting port than some of the reviews suggest. Lot's of spice, no rough edges, no heat, no raisin-like taste. Hints of clove, cinnamon...something sweet like coconut...just a wonderful blend of spices. Very sad that I was pouring from a 375 ml bottle. Port disappeared before the sun did. No reason to hold onto to this wine. Drink up, now.

May 18, 2019 - Fantastic - baking spices, figs, perfect balance, nice complexity. Wish there was more of this to be had.

September 10, 2018 - Rusty brick color. Raspberries, molasses, and pepper on the nose. Medium bodied, candied strawberries, a lot of heat, good acid, burnt honey, and a long finish. A little too hot for me.

January 11, 2018 - Although the bottles are grouped together according to CT, this NV port from Wellington is a tall slender bottle, rather than the stubby ones that the White Port, and most of the Red Port, that I have are. It's very good, but not as stellar as the others. I opened it, and had a bit, just to make sure that it would be appropriate for gifting, and I'm happy to say that this is perfect for that.

December 23, 2017 - I hope that this combination (the white and red non-vintage ports) is offered one last time on wine dot woot, so that I can accumulate a few more bottles of both. Pleasantly fragrant, not heavy in taste, and it caused me to go back for a second small glass, just to make sure. Just really delicious.

August 5, 2016 - Delicious. Less nutty than a prior bottle, and full of baking spice and plum.
