December 21, 2013 - Dark cherry red and mostly cherry on the nose. A very nice palate with lots of sweet black fruits with some pepper and earth. A smooth food wine that went down easy. One of the better CDRs that I have tried. A real nice wine for the price.
January 15, 2013 - This experience was more similar to laast encounter. Mellow enough to sip on its own. Second day was even better.
February 1, 2012 - Seems to have lost some of its body since I tasted in 2010. May have cellared too long.
January 24, 2012 - Sweet raspberry and a hint of complex herbs on the nose. Juicy berry body with some chocalety flavors. Well balanced and very good.
July 13, 2010 - Medium dark clear red. The secondary notes are coming on. Earth and chalk with lots of raspberry and pepper. Better then it's AOC. Nice slightly sweet entry and finish. Excellent.
July 7, 2010 - Dark red. Kind of on the fast track I think. The bright red raspberry fruit seems to be a bit more subdued and the pepper and black olive seem to be taking charge. Nice tannins and a decent length finish. Very nice.
July 3, 2010 - Good body for a grenache. Worked well with grilled beef skewers.
April 30, 2010 - Improved markedly after a day vacu-corked in the fridge with more intense ripe fruit and strong licorice taste in the finish. Also fruit emerged as strongly plum flavored and little berry flavor. Delicious - more so after 24 hrs in the fridge. Good QPR. Recommend decanting 1 hr after opening.
April 15, 2010 - Nose of a bottle decanted quite a few hours had distinctive thyme and tarragon. In the mouth smooth strong red raspberry and cherry fruit, medium acid and tannin, balanced and well-integrated elements with a finish of hints of mocha, citrus, leather, and nut oil.
February 21, 2010 - Medium red. Cherry, raspberry and a little pepper. Slight sweetness in the flavours. Nice finish.
