January 21, 2019 - This wine has aged quite well. I last tasted this vintage six years ago. The fruit has faded a bit but the flavor and finish are still there. Only a very well made we one can age so gracefully for 11 years and counting.

May 21, 2016 - Dark cherry and blackberry taste that lingers for a long finish. Nice and fruity but not overpowering bomb. Has aged very well and will last a few more years but quite enjoyable now

November 19, 2015 - Browning on the fringe. Some secondary notes now with leather, cedar. Medium/high brightness, still fairly tannic despite the age.

September 27, 2015 - 2 hour decant to start, nose is of old tobacco and dusty gravel. Dark tart cherry with a quick finish. Not great, but very drinkable, at least for another 6 months.

January 27, 2015 - Let this breathe for an hour, and the tannins on the nose were still tight. Black fruit, leather, a little sage fragrance. On the palate, the mouthfeel is very balanced and not as chewy as I was expecting. The acids carry the fruit flavors over the front palate but don't linger, instead making way for tannins carrying more of the aged blackberry-leather-tobacco. It's an elegant wine, and drinking beautifully. Glad we pulled it out now.
