December 18, 2020 - Has lost a bit of its complexity but still drinking well. On a bit of a downward slope, so drink up!!

December 20, 2015 - Still drinking great. Vibrant red fruit, apple, tobacco, soil, full bodied, bright, and integrated.

March 17, 2013 - Nice red fruits, a little meaty; palate is light bodied, a bit high on the acidity. Ready to drink. 90-91

March 22, 2012 - From magnum, the color here suggests this wine is just beginning to evolve, the nose following suit with a nice mix of savory earth and potting soil notes balanced by relatively powerful red fruit aromas. Gorgeous on the palate, full of spicy red fruit, this is nearly full bodied and quite mouthfilling, very well defined, with red fruit flavors and maybe a suggestion of cola. Ripe but well integrated tannin; medium acidity. Could last in this format for at least another five years.

September 20, 2008 - Lovely deep flavors and elegant texture. Intense but not heavy. Excellent nose which
gained complexity over the 2 hours or so the bottle lasted. Much less heavy than other
Savoys from Littorai that I have tasted, but no lack of depth or complexity. Drinking
    very well but no hurry.
