April 16, 2011 - Pale color. Citrus, mineral and vanilla nose. Palate is citrus, crushed stone and a tad vanilla. Has held up pretty well considering the vintage. Very Good.
March 31, 2010 - Smells classic: smoke, rocks, citrus and a little vanilla. Light-bodied with citrus and mineral, but a touch flabby. Very good.
March 6, 2010 - Burgs at APFW Relocation Sale (APFW, Kallang): Strange wine this - lots of quality, but slightly marred by certain 2003 vintage characteristics. Nice enough nose - very ripe grapefruit, peaches, nice earthy mineral, some flowers and plenty of buttery, nutty Meursault tones. Attack on the palate was nice and clean, with a bit of acid adding relief to rather ripe yellow fruit, but it all got a little foggy once the wine hit the palate in earnest, with slightly cooked notes and a bit of heat on the otherwise minerally finish. Overall, a decent wine, but not great.
June 6, 2007 - This was sadly the last bottle of one of my favorite white Burgundies to date.
October 12, 2006 - Very rich aroma of ripe pears, vanilla, must. Flovours bright, good acidity, and that mouthfeel, smooth and sexy. Good finish to boot. I can't believe that others haven't gotten this!
August 28, 2006 - Although my company doubted me at first ("we want pinot"), this proved a perfect accompaniment with mushroom risotto and braised Kale. Lots of body and flavor to hold up to very rich dishes. Has years to go to age. I just bought more!
July 9, 2006 - Delicious, de;icious, delicious! Incedible balance of smoothness and brightness. An amazing sweetness in the finish that's hard to describe. Much more complex and pleasant than the Boyer Martinot from the same vintage and vineyard the next day/.
June 5, 2006 - Provado às cegas para o GG06. Importado pela WW. Nariz delicioso, mineral intenso, complexo, fino. Algo de café, ligeiro mentol, complexidade impressionante. Agradabilíssimo. (A) Excepcional.
