December 16, 2022 - Supps at KC's (KC's place): Softly engaging, subtle and gentle, red hued fruits are fleshy and generous, sweet and savoury spice, a little brambly underpin. Juicy, a little herbaceous note joins the baked fruits on the palate, tannins near resolved, vanilla, less savoury spice on the palate. Lovely and wonderful to try next to the 2015

October 24, 2022 - W lamb eggplant mousaka. Fantastic ccombo. Really great well integrated wine at top of bottle. This will live much longer but why try to time the market. Very good zin flavors (red fruit dominates) great nose and fun length and finish. This is Ridge Lytton Springs at it best.

May 25, 2022 - Still dense, not showing any translucency. Moderate bricking and some maturity around the edges of expression. Yet, the big, bold Zinberry broadcasts out of the glass still. Along with some lava rocks, plum and cocoa. A pinch of heat too. Still generous, weighty, fleshy fruit on the palate. Light tannin and just enough acidity. Could use more honestly. This is very expressive for its age though. There is a lot to work with yet. Its in a good spot but no harm in letting this go for many more years.

December 12, 2021 - An old friend. Decanted and consumed over a couple of hours - cherry, vanilla, chocolate, a smidge of coconut, touches of plums are joined by a little tertiary leather and earth. Balanced. Lovely.

October 13, 2021 - Drinking really well. Aged gracefully. Continue to stock up on these to drink down the road.
