November 14, 2021 - Undrinkable at this age.

December 26, 2020 - Post-Christmas Dinner at home with friends (At home): Charming nose of lilies, ripe pear and mineral. Mature, nicely rounded yet retaining much freshness, the wine dances ever so lightly on the palate. Magnum bottle.

    May 6, 2020 - Note: I use a scale on which 85 represents a very good wine.

Wow. What a difference 10+ years can make. The last bottle of this I had was in 2009, and for whatever reasons, I decided to let the remaining bottles (2) I had sit. I just had a feeling that some extended aging would allow this bottle to come around, and this was clearly the case.

Not quite as rich as some other older w bdx I have had, but still full flavored. Acidity and fruit still in good balance.
Drank consistently well for the hour during which the missus and I drank it.
No signs of oxidization. Color a little rich, but far from dark. More like a young or middle aged Sauternes.
No decant. Did not seem to need it.

October 3, 2019 - Not often I drink white Bordeaux. This is on slightly oxidative notes, melon and apple fruit with notes of nuts and spices. Complex with good freshness, this is not heavy or cumbersome to drink at all. Worked extremely well with my chicken in cream/mustard sauce.

March 9, 2014 - 10+ Year Old Frenchies (Bistro Dre, Chicago, IL): Tasted double blind. Bold exotic and layered nose with white fruit, floral notes and Asian spice (cardamom?). Palate is still tight and full bodied. Waxy white fruit. Doesn't show much sauv blanc character. Would guess that this needs more time to open up on the palate.
