September 16, 2011 - Very fragrant nose with hints of old rose, red berries, wet earth and grass. Medium to full bodied Pinot with a rich, meaty character that is quite understated compared to the Goldeneye with flavors of black currant, cola, tar, and dark chocolate. The the finish has a grip of cedar and a little spice. Interesting. Drink now until 2020. 2011_07_29

March 5, 2011 - Darker than average with a convincing cooked cherries fruit profile a well-defined taste structure that compares favorably to the mess some other highly extracted PNs can get. Very good in that style.
