March 21, 2021 - 60 minute slow oxidation. A glorious medium gold and beautifully mature with light butterscotch, honeyed almonds, roasted hazelnuts, dried white flowers, and under ripe tropical fruits. There’s a toffee apple quality to the wine where the apple is heavily bruised and slightly oxidised. Rich, dense, and concentrated while retaining a sense of freshness. Utterly delicious.

March 20, 2021 - Honey, pastry, vanilla, butterscotch, and caramel/toffee on the nose. Great creamy palette with all of the the above, alongside over ripe or cooked tropical fruit, pineapple, kiwi, mango. Unbelievable bright golden colour. Long finish, close to a minute

July 18, 2016 - Weekly tasting group #222; A mixed set fully blind tasted. (@ CvR): Expressive bouquet with ripe yellow tropical fruits and vanilla and showing maturity in a pleasant way. On the palate yellow tropical fruits, full bodied and even a bit fat. Beautifully fresh acidity and a good length. A beautiful Burgundy in its maturity stage now. No real hurry either.

January 4, 2014 - Soft yellow tropical fruits in the bouquet and on the palate. Touch of oak. The wine has matured quite much. It is still nice, but don't wait too long.

July 9, 2010 - Not so many notes. Very youthful and still closed. Fairly full bodied. Little oak. Good citrus.

February 3, 2009 - Wildman & Sons 2007 Burgundy Barrel Tasting (The Clift, San Francisco): Rich, buttery marmalade nose. Some sweet oak. Again a big seductive, full-bodied mouthfeel with some wood tannin and a bit of warmth.
