December 27, 2014 - Nice aromas. Good tannins with a smooth finish.
June 29, 2014 - Profound fruit notes of currant and blackberry. The oak influence is just right. Complex and solid. Papa's Knoll is consistently Buehler's best and is consistently a great value in Napa cab.

August 16, 2013 - Very smooth, pleasant mouth- feel with nice long finish. Does lean to blue fruit spectrum. Didn't need food...great dinner by itself!
June 24, 2013 - This wine was dark, full bodied a wonderfully balanced. There were flavors of dried fruit with a hint of chocolate. Once decanted, it was very ready to drink, but could probably go for up to another five years. I would have rated it even higher, if there were more complexity to it.
January 21, 2013 - This is an elegant and complex wine. while it has at least five to seven years left (maybe more), i can only picture its character changing, becoming different, but not necessarily better. It's quite wonderful right now, with a bouquet bursting with flavors of chocolate and cinnamon in a very long finish. All the Buehler Cabs offer big bang for the buck. This one is my favorite.

October 25, 2012 - Really nice effort from Buehler. Nose of dark fruit. Tannins well integrated and smooth on te way down. This bottle didn't last long around the table.
October 7, 2012 - This was very primary the first night. Tasty, but just straightforward fruit. It developed some complexity on the 2nd and 3rd nights but the fact that it lasted that long tells me I wasn't that excited about it. Was hoping for more at this level in the Buehler lineup. I'll wait a year or two before opening another bottle of this.
