September 9, 2016 - Rather subtle pop when opening, but vigorous bubbles in the glass. Beautiful copper-pink color. This wine has some weight to it. Toasted bread and strawberries on the nose. A bit short on the palate, with yeasty notes. A decent wine, but a bit disappointing given this is their top bottling.

February 24, 2016 - For 15 years this has been my favorite sparkling wine. However the last few bottles we've opened have been overly tart. It also doesn't have that nice lingering after taste any more. I visited Chandon to try it there, maybe my bottles were off. But no, it was the same. So sad, after 15 years my love affair has ended.

January 29, 2016 - Always enjoy this wine. Slightly deeper red color than some rosé. Not much "poof" uncorking and was a bit concerned, but the bubbles in each glass were enthusiastic. Fine fruit on the front of the tongue with a wonderful dry finish.

December 31, 2015 - We've enjoyed this in the past, but this year, the softness and almost confection berry flavor was off-putting. We finished it, and there was nothing wrong with it, I just remember liking it more a few years ago.
It doesn't seem right to complain, but I won't buy it again.
