    September 17, 2018 - Fully mature, the wine is showing its age in the color and with its secondary notes that are already on display. Medium bodied, with spicy red fruits and olive tapenade in the finish, this is ready for prime time drinking.

In the mouth a little tertiary leather comes through, tannins are still chalky, savoury and quite tight still.

    November 5, 2016 - 2016 Villa d’Este Wine Symposium - Kelly, Alan and Kevin's excellent adventure; 11/3/2016-11/12/2016 (Villa D’este, Lake Como, Piedmont, Milan and Frankfurt): Nice harmonious nose displaying subtle sweet red nose and flowers that I associate with Cabernet franc, cocoa powder, ash and iron. Medium concentration, youthful yet round and silky, subtle red fruit driven palate impression, a hint of green, mineral, bright acidity, noticeable slightly coarse tannins and medium mineral driven finish. Quite youthful and need another five to ten years to reach the peak.

    September 7, 2014 - Assemblage judicieux de Cabernet Franc (60%) et de Merlot (40%). Robe rubis pourpre profond. Bouquet aromatique de framboise, myrtilles, épices, sous-bois, fleurs et boite à tabac. L’attaque en bouche présente une bonne texture et une savoureuse matière. Des tanins doux, mais présents englobent le tout.

    January 2, 2013 - Boite à cigare, tabac. Tout d'un bloc, même après 3 heures de carafe. Le vin est beau, sérieux, mais manque un peu de vieillissement. Une dizaine d'années devraient le rendre beaucoup plus intéressant. À ce stade-ci, c'est clairement décevant.
