April 9, 2022 - Outstanding! Mellowed fruit and heft are still intact after 15 years. Great with food or otherwise.

July 9, 2019 - Coravin'd over 2 nights in Chicago. Last bottle from a batch bought direct after a fantastic tasting with the vintner. Last bottle 4+ years ago.

Deep saturated purple color, mildly cloudy. Fragrant nose, old world style showing dark fruits, earth notes. Rich, elegant, fruit forward palate showing dark fruits, blueberry jam, cedar, licorice, smoke. A pleasant sweetness through the mid palate. Smooth texture throughout... Tannins fined and sweet. Full bodied and long finish.

Wine has evolved beautifully, may be in a perfect spot right now. Gains expression as it warms in the glass, a 45 minute decant helps if venue allows. Would be great with any meats or savory dishes or just to enjoy on its own. A nice surprise to the upside, bumping up a few points from last tasting. Should last a while if wanting to cellar but I think this may be at its best over the next 3 years

September 28, 2018 - Perfect cabernet. No flaws. Mild sediment. Moderate rim variation. Beautiful nose. Paired perfectly with grilled filet mignon. Low tannin and acid. Medium alcohol. Long, long finish. Old world, earthy nose. Ready to drink.

December 18, 2015 - At home with pizza, been a while since I had this wine, impulse pull from the cellar after dumping a Banfi BdM...visited the vineyard a few years back, really enjoyed the property and getting to know the vintners. Popped and poured, drank over 2 hours

Deep purple color...dark fruits, spice and earth on the nose. Palate of blackberry, cedar, sweet tannins and mid palate. Smooth and creamy texture.

Wine is in a really good spot right now, suspect it will hold this level for a bit. It opened up nicely in the glass, would give it 45-60 minutes of air prior to drinking to get it fully opened.
