December 27, 2023 - Decanted for one hour. This bottle's acid was unbalanced and tart.
October 8, 2023 - My last bottle and best one. Took a couple hours to fully open. Chocolate covered ripe blueberries, touches of vanilla Oak and some blackberries, very smooth with well hidden alcohol.
July 22, 2023 - Wine's color showed no signs of age. After a few hours it still had a bit of grit and chewiness to the tannins, although generally smooth. The fruit was dense but disjointed. Seemed a touch cooked, but no plum or raisin notes. Perhaps an off bottle. Expected much better.
October 10, 2022 - Excellent Merlot. Still plenty of fruit plus secondary flavors. probably at or near peak.
August 6, 2022 - TCA….bad funk that never blew off !
July 6, 2022 - Simply fantastic. Best Merlot I have had.
February 15, 2022 - Delicious and in a good spot.
December 26, 2021 - A bit tired. May have been an off bottle as was showing a bit of cooked notes.
April 19, 2021 - Nose: 90-91, Palate: 90-91. The nose was a little bit weird, but still outstanding (tasted blind).
September 18, 2020 - Drank with pork loin roast. This wine is drinking well, Happy to have a few more for the coming years.
