March 25, 2017 - Fully mature. Probably starting decline. Yellow, gold. Lovely aged nose of candied fruit, nut and flowers. Medium body with nice structure.

November 24, 2015 - Buttery velvet smooth goodness. You have to love fresh French oak, however. Well integrated and delicious.

October 28, 2014 - Chicago Wine Flock...Hezi's Late 90s Trip Around the World (Hezi's - HP,IL): Tasted double blind. Clearly New World Chardonnay that most of us thought from Sonoma. Ripe pear and peach aromas and flavors with plenty of pronounced new oak and some baking spice hints. Lots of heat on finish that bothered me more than most other tasters tonight.

January 24, 2013 - Lemons and ripe citrus in a bold, round style. Acidity takes a backseat to riper tones and moderate oak is present.

December 24, 2011 - Merry Christmas from Farpointe! (Farpointe Cellar): Tropical fruit and nuts on the nose, with some smoke underneath, and some crushed rock at the end. The palate has good acidity and nice smokiness. There's a little oak on the mid-palate, and lots of tropical fruit on the finish,

August 5, 2011 - Love these chardonnays. Enjoyed with homemade alfredo sauce and pasta. Carmel apple, some citrus and touch of oak. These are very big to me but are not over the top butter and oak monsters. Finish was smooth.
