December 30, 2011 - Not great, below average for the price.
June 7, 2011 - PnP, and drank without food. Got ripe plum on the nose, which carried over to the palate, where it was joined by a little leather, red fruit, and earth. Good QPR, a good bottle for mid-week. Would buy again.
June 6, 2011 - Nice and fruity. Enjoyable but not memorable.
April 23, 2011 - Really an average buy, there are many other wines in this price range that are much better. Watery, lacks character or complexity. Cherry is detectable, mostly tastes like grape juice.
March 10, 2011 - Dark ruby with a watery edge; smells of alcohol with every sniff that masks musty earth initially; then some dark cherry, but only after having been open for an hour; thin and slightly watery taste; first glass not all that great; after an hour, some cola flavors and some dark fruit but nothing significant; finish had better flavor, albeit not very long...gets better with age (2 hours open now)
February 22, 2011 - I actually have to say that this wine improved with age. When I initially tried it I tasted nothing more than a cherry starburst, thin and watery. That was in 2009. Now I'm picking up an improved taste, still cherry but it's developing more of a cocoa, earthy, typical Cabernet smell. I had it in a vertical tasting with the 2007 (still awesome) and the 2009 (tannic and needs some cellaring). My opinion is improving as is the taste of the 2008. Just purchased 2 more to cellar.
December 30, 2010 - This was serviceable, but the whole time I felt like I was drinking out of a glass that had been left out in the mud, and not in a good Burgundian way.
December 12, 2010 - Vino de tono tinto oscuro, de excelente aroma y gran cuerpo. Buen balance de taninos, ligeramente afrutado con toque al final dulce al paladar.
