May 29, 2019 - Good balance with dark fruit on the nose and on the palate. Dark purple with a medium finish, and a little spice. Still drinking nicely.

February 13, 2016 - Dark reddish purple. Intense blackberry rock candy, dark cassis compote, tar/charcoal and white pepper on the nose. Full bodied, spherical, thick and chewy in the mouth with gobs of ripe and stewed small black fruits, savory pan drippings, low acidity, dissolving tannins with a long, fruity/charcoal tinged finish. This wine is not shy and is best drunk next to a burning fireplace on a winter's day.

June 24, 2015 - Very nice and drinking well. Quite the inky purple wine. Adequate nose. Very plush black and blue ripe and integrated fruit. Still with tannins and alcohol. Bold and beautiful. Long and very nice finish.

February 20, 2015 - Coravined. Soaring aromas of black currant preserves, black olive paste, bacon fat and graphite make up an enticing nose. The palate shows satin textured, sweet crushed black small fruits, low acidity, melting tannins and a long spicy and charcoal tinged finish. What a great showing and a good value to boot.
