October 10, 2018 - A little disappointed. May be past its prime. Two dimensional. Cough syrup on nose and palate. Weird finish. However, some enjoyment in drinking thus decent score.

June 13, 2016 - Upon opening, I assumed this bottling was fading away. No nose, fairly mute on the palate, short finish. After about an hour open it did come around to be quite aromatically expressive, and with a lingering, if subtle finish. No hints of off, possibly smoke aromas that I have sometimes gotten with this wine. Probably time to drink up.

June 13, 2015 - Inviting aroma of darker fruits, cedar and a touch of smoke. Rounded palate of sweet red fruits and baking spices. Medium-Light body with silken mouth feel. Some acidity remains. Would drink over the next 1-3yrs.

December 24, 2014 - Tasting a series of American pinots this holiday. This one is the most European so far. Nice.

December 14, 2014 - This wine has mellowed a bit and is a bit softer than a lot of the other Sojourn offerings... great fruit profile. Drink up if you like the fruit-forward style

(Sojourn Pinot Noir Rodgers Creek Vineyard Sonoma Coast) Dark cherry red color with pale meniscus; hibiscus, floral, pine nose; tart cherry, hibiscus palate with a touch of green herb, and less noticeable tannins than the other '08 Sojourn Pinots. Accessible now and should drink well for the next 3 to 4 years. 91+ pts.
