November 29, 2019 - Chateau Cheval Blanc - 30 year vertical (1949-2015) tasted blind: Cheval Blanc was not produced in this vintage, only Petit Cheval due to the frost. It also marks Pierre Lurton's first vintage. Nose of blackberry, licorice with a medicinal touch. The palate has good energy and volume. A good showing. I was really surprised to see that this was only a Petit Cheval, well done for the challanging vintage I found.

July 17, 2016 - Eh bien pour un 1991, il était EXCELLENT !
Bouchon très long, entamé d'un quart.
Robe : légèrement brune avec des reflets orangée
Nez : envoûtant sur les fleurs séchées, le cèdre (léger), le sous-bois, l'humus. On demande à prolonger ses arômes.
En bouche : les tanins sont bien fondus et d'une grande finesse. On retrouve ses arômes de sous-bois. Très belle et longue persistance aromatique.
Tout en finesse et en dentelle
