October 12, 2010 - Medium dark red. Expressive nose combines elements of Valpolicella and New World Pinot, although no one characteristic ever dominates. Structured and seriously concentrated palate shows impressive youth, probably too much in fact, as there's a tight ball of tart tannin, iron flecked flavor that seems in need of unwinding.
