May 26, 2023 - During a Paulee dinner, so only brief impressions. Very fresh and not a hint of oxidation but unfortunately corked. Arg!
November 28, 2022 - Same bottle as Wine Amateur. Amazingly youthful , pure zinging fruit and fresh . Just a brilliant wine . Oh if they were still like this. My last bottle.

May 15, 2021 - Just stunning and ageless, exactly as billed. This felt like an Easter miracle. Color was pale yellow as if it were 3, 5 yrs old. Metallic and mineral nose on opening that needed to unfurl. Just a miraculous experience, feel lucky to have found this magnum for sale 7 years ago and trusted it'd make the longer haul. Wish I could find more ageless, well-made and stored '88 but ha! good luck.
November 22, 2020 - In magnum. Exotic fruit, yellow fruit and minerals. Youthful, rich and balanced. Still a baby in this format.
February 23, 2020 - bottle, fill and cork excellent - youthful, lovely, light golden color with life sustaining acidity - a regal and lovely wine that could last many more years
June 10, 2019 - Still supremely youthful. There’s some flint, citrus blossom and mildly exotic fruits on the nose. It is rich, dense and linear in the mouth. It has fabulous detail and such great posture. Citrus flavours really linger.
November 11, 2018 - bottle, fill and cork all good - a sublime burg, still relatively young, light golden opens up nicely with apple, lemon peel, honey. Excellent acidity - regal and lovely with a simple salad. Plenty of life ahead
January 8, 2018 - Yet another holiday dinner with amazing wines (Black Salt, Washington D.C.): Fantastic, too, following a pair of excellent Champagnes. No premox here. At first, it seems just a tad lean perhaps, but a light butterscotch nose aspect builds over time yielding a rich yet vibrant wine. Very pretty, too, beckoning drinking. As it sits in glass, a very subtle note herbal aspect, touches of cooked pear with light spice, all rather subtle and appealing. And then there is a nougat like finish. Bravo!
