September 2, 2018 - Wines Enjoyed at Pre Labor Day Celebration and BBQ (Casa de la Mata - Chicago IL): Drinkable, but clearly very tired.
June 8, 2016 - My last - and exactly as per my previous note. Drinking perfectly but won't gain anything from keeping in my view.
October 10, 2015 - Opened an hour before consumption.
Melba toast, aromatic melon and core of integrated capsicum for balance. Viscosity and good length. Subtle changes from my Dec '14 note that tell me to drink up my remaining bottle this year while it continues to excel.
Will seek out more using CT's collective wisdom to select the optimum vintage.
July 25, 2015 - Looking and tasting much older than its true age, while not dead, it was on its way. The wine lacked freshness and complexity in the nose and the mouth. Drink up as it's only going to get worse.
January 24, 2015 - Green-tinged golden yellow. Shy tropical fruit nose that developed substantially with air. Tropical fruit, apple, pear and vanilla on the palate. This was muted at first but came around very nicely with air. Should have decanted for 45 minutes or so. Lovely once it arrived. Drink now and over the next year or two.
December 22, 2014 - Absolutely superb once again.
Viscous, toasty ripe exotic fruit/pink grapefruit and integrated subtle capsicum grip. Seems to be holding up longer than I originally expected but should nonetheless be drunk up soonish while maintaining this quality level.
September 8, 2014 - Becoming a bit fuller with age while still much as earlier notes. Approaching end of plateau, drink over next twelve months - still excellent but don't hang around!
