March 13, 2019 - Wow! A great example of an aged right bank blend. Earth tones, basil and sage, currants and a really rich nose. Full and the palate with a long, elegant finish. A total surprise.

July 8, 2018 - Domaine du Castel tasting (Ya'in Ba'Ir Rosh HaA'in): clear, deep purple
clean, profound tertiary aromas of dark mature red fruits with forest-floor & leather notes,
dry, high acidity, high tannins, full body, excellent balance & harmony, well structured, lean complexity, long alcoholic quality finish, quite surprising for a second wine

March 30, 2018 - Really old world style wine. Delicious notes of sage and spice with some serious earthiness.

January 12, 2013 - Excellent bottle. Not as "interesting" as grand vin, but that doesn't make it worse in this case
