January 30, 2016 - Not much to report on this bottle. Color a nice, transparent mid-ruby. Wet fur aromas which dissipated quickly, leaving not much else. No discernable fruit. Tannins somewhat drying. Prominent acid. Might have shown better with food.

February 10, 2012 - Still a bit primary, but not bad. Firm acidic structure is still dominant but there is enough fruit to give some pleasure. A bit disjointed but seems like it will pull itself together in 2-3 years. Good weight and depth for the price.

November 28, 2011 - Very nice, mellow, pale colored, interested to try on the 2nd day

May 8, 2011 - Improved tremendously over the year and a half since I had this last. Pop and pour, drank over 4 hours. Ripe red fruits, rhubarb, tobacco, and fine abundant tannins. Still has a ways to go to shed the tannins, but drank pretty well on this day. Paid $24 and worth maybe twice that.

March 26, 2011 - Just right with roasted chicken.
