  November 28, 2010 - Apples on the nose and palate. Decent minerality. Some sage or wild herb flavors on the finish. Good acid to fruit balance.

  November 15, 2010 - Very bright white floral and stone fruit perfume gives way to a light toward medium body, very lively acids and a bit of a snappy finish. I wasn't sure what to expect (I'm used to drinking my Arneis in the town of Canale, for maximum freshness :P ), and walked away with pleasant but somewhat mixed feelings about the overall balance between fruit and acid. I can say that I appreciate Vietti's discipline in that he always tries to show the wine nature intended rather than some formulaic also-ran. At the end of the day, this made a decent food wine, but the overall tartness and acid imbalance kept me from truly enjoying it. Drink thru 2010.

  August 30, 2010 - Green apple on the nose and palate with nice minerality. Medium body. Not too complex. Drinks well now.

  July 29, 2010 - White flowers, lime, minerality. Some spritz. I seem to remember it having a little more acid, but there is still very good fruit/acid balance to this wien.

  June 24, 2010 - Pale straw color. bright and lovely acid. Flavors of pear and gooseberry with light body and a medium finish. A good picnic wine.
