April 8, 2022 - Gold colour. Apple, caramel, sugercane and honey on the nose and palate. While I initially thought its premox, there is plenty of acidity. Drink up as there is clearly premox risk.

February 25, 2017 - It's unfortunate this wine was corked because there was some lovely fruit underneath the funk. It went from slightly off-putting to absolutely awful with air. Served from magnum.

February 25, 2017 - A 40th Birthday Celebration, Lunch Edition (Elements Restaurant at the Sanctuary - Paradise Valley, AZ): Magnum. Musty to start with intense and wonderful concentration. Clearly corked 30 minutes later.

October 24, 2013 - Magnum (Mostly) White Dinner (GT Fish & Oyster - Chicago IL): Magnum. My Wine of the Night. Apple, spice, flowers and some peach aromas, all very balanced and elegant. similar flavors but very restrained, also elegant. Incredibly lift and energy throughout, this was fascinating to drink alongside the Marc Morey 2004 Batard-Montrachet in the next glass, with both perfectly representing their terroir.

October 24, 2013 - GT Fish & Oyster - Magnum Night (Chicago, IL): Another wow, penetrating nose. In the mouth, an interesting contrast to the Batard Montrachet. This is equally as delicious and features a similar flavor profile but has more focus and precision. Splitting hairs, but I slightly prefer the richness of the Batard tasted side-by-side.
