August 2, 2017 - PnP at Spoon & Stable. Kevins blt. Palish gold color. Sea breeze fresh nose. Undebatable Grand Cru concentration, intense minerality and salty citrus notes. Surprisingly, more masculine than I expected from Vaudesir but I could be wrong about what you typically get from the site having only ever owned a couple btls. I was expecting a more a feminine and finessed wine. Right now what it lacks in finesse is offset by lip smacking mouth coating intensity. This should be really something when it rounds out just a bit and takes on some mature refinement. Still an adolescent at age 11, like well made Chablis from the days before premox. I'd love to try this again at age 15 but it certainly did not disappoint tonight either. My almost Co WOTN. 93pts+ How do you beat Chablis!!!

August 2, 2017 - A Nice Mix at Spoon & Stable (Spoon & Stable, Mpls, MN): Light gold color. Drank 1 glass over an hour plus. I'm shocked to see its been 3 years since the last bottle, which drank remarkably then, and is as good if not better now. At 9 years this is going strong. There are the requisite earthy, seashore, and damp musty notes on the front end that I adore, plenty of oyster shell minerality, lemon, lime, and saline. The layered and focused palate takes the nose and elevates it further. Grand cru power and depth are clearly demonstrated with some nice bottle age to boot. Better yet, I thought it was my last one....nope.

January 25, 2017 - Linear and precise, this could not be mistaken for anything other than Chablis. However, it lacks the richness and intensity of the Raveneau drunk beside it. The finish here was on the shorter and simpler side. A good, but not great Chablis.

October 8, 2016 - Really tasty...good depth and concentration while keeping transparency and a very weightless mouthfeel. Couldn't be in a better spot. Interestingly enough Valmur from same producer and vintage was comparatively disappointing.
