January 5, 2024 - Disembarking and Liberating Paris once again from Fear & Hypocrisy; 1/4/2024-1/6/2024 (Paris - France): Very soft bubble, harmless both in mouth and nose. Copper red colour. Valid just as an appetizer.
Muy suave burbuja, inofensivo tanto en boca como en nariz. De un cobrizo color rojo. Válido como aperitivo.
August 4, 2023 - 100% Pinot, Stainless, served warm and kinda just fine for it.
February 26, 2023 - Friendly, modest sweetness, some fruit in the bouquet, fresh aftertaste.
February 12, 2023 - Light salmon with reflections of pink. Received as a Christmas gift; I assume it was recently disgorged. This is straightforward but honestly delicious and super crushable, offering appealing aromas of red apple skin, dried peach, dried strawberry, biscuits, and saltines. Medium to medium+ bodied on the palate with medium+ acidity, this is dry, bright and decidedly red-fruited, simple but really tasty and unquestionably a value when it comes to sparkling rosé.
April 17, 2022 - Correct pour le prix.
August 29, 2021 - Light salmon/pink in color.
Brioche on the nose, tiny bubbles
Great appertif
Strawberry- hint of citrus (grapefruit/lemon?)
Nice finish, great price point.
April 8, 2021 - More than adequate sparkling rose, decent depth of flavor and well balanced. On the other hand there are a sea of similar wines right now, decent price at $16.
September 13, 2020 - For a wine we should have had a year ago, it was totally drinkable. Not as “stinky” on the nose as others mentioned. We quite enjoyed it for the value.
May 27, 2020 - Great value, super fine bubbles, aromas of sour cherry.
June 1, 2019 - Champagnes & Sparkling Wines (Vintage Wines Ltd., San Diego, CA): Typically, P.N. from vines ave 20 yrs old (yielding 65 hl/ha), grown in the clay & limestone soils of high altitude vyds in the Yonne area; "Traditional vinification; Blending: P.N. only, single vintage. Prise de Mousse: 2nd fermentation inside the bottle (after addition of the 'liqueur de tirage')
'Remuage' & disgorging: to eliminate 2nd fermentation sediments.
'Dosage': a sugar liquor is added, leaving 8g/l of R.S."
N: Slightly closed; Earth atop (poss) red rasps, yeast way underneath? Intensity lurking?
P: MF body; Very RNDISH entry with NICE, ALMOST swtish frt (approaching threshold R.S.?) with acidity TRYING to balance. The finish is fairly long with a tangy/SWTNESS. Best suited as a quaff/aperitif, where it just MIGHT excel. My VG+; [This vendor's $14.95 is $1 < wine-searcher's lowest listing.]
