October 3, 2015 - My expectation was low for this bottle as it's level was very low, the capsule nicked and had some funky mold growing on the cork. That said, the cork came out in one piece...even though it was saturated.
After decanting and waiting a bit, we found this wine to be pretty remarkable. Tons of red fruit, nice acidity, long finish for an old wine. It also evolved and got better over 2 hours with more complexity emerging. So happy I have a few more bottles stashed away.
