August 24, 2021 - Lovely and smelling fresh as a daisy on opening. Dusty rose, black cherry, red fruit on the palate. Moderate acidity (very nice with a grilled tri-tip salad). Over time, some secondary aspects of BBQ spices, old books, earth/loam. Drink or hold.

January 30, 2021 - Still has plenty of life and what a wonderful wine.

December 20, 2020 - Has lost a bit of its complexity but still drinking well. On a bit of a downward slope, so drink up!!

March 16, 2017 - Light ruby red color. Bought directly from winery and secondary flavors just beggining to emerge. Very light red fruit palate to be enjoyed with some roast chicken or game bird. I dont know if it has the stuffing to evolve for the better.

October 30, 2014 - On the nose big barnyard funk with backdrop of red fruit. Ruby red color and very transparent with no brick edges, despite its age. On the palate some light red fruit but dominate by earth flavors. Plenty of structure left but I don't know how long he fruit will hold. Great wine if not somewhat rustic. Would not have guesses CA PN if served blind. B +
