November 28, 2023 - Tasted vis-a-vis Pira Marenca, this came out as a winner on the night. Surprisingly open, rich, fruity, in perfect balance. Red berries, hints of chocolate, tar, ripe fruit, in a perfect spot. No hurry at all, no need to keep it either.

August 18, 2023 - Lovely fresh notes on the herbier, more floral side of the nebbiolo spectrum- some rose, fennel, menthol. A fresher, more transparent showing. Pretty, but not fully open and slightly less expressiveness and intensity than I would have liked or expected.

December 26, 2022 - Awful nose of acetone did not blow off even with 3 hours in the decanter. The wine itself in the mouth was somewhat enjoyable but the chemical aroma was hard to ignore.

November 17, 2022 - WCC Barolo and Barbaresco Dinner (The Chef's Table at Cafe Capriccio, Albany, NY): [Double-decanted at 1pm.] Muted nose of ripe fruit. Black fruit and chocolate. Savory. Elegant.
