November 9, 2023 - From MG. Surprisingly good even though a bit over the top. Classic Bordeaux with no tannins left. Fruit a little overripe.

April 20, 2019 - Unexpectedly quite potent. Great body and tannins. Was cutting through a fatty beef tomahawk like a surgeon scalpel

February 25, 2017 - We were deep into a game of Cards Against Humanity and I was getting crushed. Not just beaten, but trucked. By a lot. The others wanted another wine and I decided to dig a bit deep and challenge the others who were burying me in the game to blindly identify the wine, And they failed. Joy. I guess. Coffee, campfire smoke, anise, and raspberry on the palate with balance and plenty of spunk. thedrunkencyclist.com

October 28, 2016 - Well-balanced with a nose and palate of muted dark fruit and sandalwood. Smooth, medium-length finish with tannins nearly completely faded.

March 15, 2016 - Slightly stewed raspberries, tobacco, and black pepper up front leads to a rather rich mouthfeel with still solid fruit and dusty tannins. This is not a top flight Bordeaux, but it is certainly a solid wine, that has aged very well. One bottle to go and while I will get to it relatively soon, I will do it not because it is going anywhere but because it is tasty. thedrunkencyclist.com

August 6, 2015 - PnP. Muted nose of red berries. Palate seemed off-balance with mild, stewed red and black berries and a touch of mocha and spice. A little fresh fruit developed after an hour or so. Very little tannins.

April 7, 2014 - On opening, nose very muted. Ripe cherry fruit, tannins soft, acidity refreshing. 1 hour in a decanter and nose more prominent, harder in the mouth, sandalwood and a touch of Listerine, pleasant though. Also tastes thicker - characteristic of 03's heat
